Beyond the Notes: Music Meets Mindfulness

June 24 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
  • This event has passed.

A large point of the yoga practice is learning to move into stillness. When combining this with live music, we learn to totally absorb the moment, creating an incredibly moving experience. Festival Board Member and yoga maestra, Gail Mondry, has created a unique and welcoming yoga event centered around this experience accompanied by live music performed by the Callisto Quartet. Whether you are an avid practitioner of yoga or a curious beginner, the Festival invites you to join us for a 60-minute yoga class catered to every body that can be done completely seated, if desired.

“Music Meets Mindfulness” will take place in Heritage Hall at the east end of Kirk in the Hills. Please bring your own mat, water and towel.

Time: 10:00 am - 11:00 am
