Detroit jazz legends and Festival favorites Marion Hayden and Alvin Waddles present a powerhouse concert of jazz, blues, and more!

Hayden is one of the nation’s finest proponents of the acoustic bass. In 2025, she was honored for her work as a performer and educator with the prestigious Kresge Eminent Artist Award. Waddles, a household name among jazz enthusiasts, received the 2010 Excellence Award from Detroit Musicians Association and the Detroit City Council’s 2015 Spirit of Detroit Award.

Join us in the elegant home of Ali Moiin & William Kupsky for an afternoon of exquisite music performed by Detroit’s greatest jazz legends, complemented by a selection of tea and champagne.
