Matthew Duvall, founder, artistic director and percussionist of Eighth Blackbird, and Jocelyn Conselva, vocalist and co-director of New Music Detroit, bring an exciting program that merges rhythmic nuance with harmonic color.
Conselva is a versatile musician who is celebrated as an insightful performer with a captivating stage presence. She has performed chamber music, opera, and art song across Europe, the Caribbean, and North America. Duvall, a four-time Grammy Award winner, has also received the MacArthur Award for Creative and Effective Institutions, and the Chamber Music America Visionary Award.
