Beethoven wrote his Duo for Viola and Cello and 25 Scottish Songs with friends in mind, commonly being performed in gatherings and group settings. Pairing these works with Marcello’s beloved Oboe Concerto and Rachmaninoff’s classic Variations on a Theme of Corelli makes for a cozy and comfortable kickoff to the summer season performed in the round.

BEETHOVEN | 7 Variations on “Bei Männern, welche Liebe fühlen”, WoO 46 in E-flat major
Selections from Twenty Five Scottish Songs (Op. 108)
MARCELLO | Oboe Concerto in D minor, S D 935 (arr. J.S. Bach, BWV 974)
RACHMANINOV | Variations on a Theme of Corelli, Op. 42
