Welcome to the 25th Anniversary of the Great Lakes Chamber Music Festival

For a quarter of a century, the Festival has existed as one of metro Detroit’s musical gems, bringing many of the world’s premier chamber musicians to intimate, magnificent venues. Join us for a celebration of the Festival’s rich history as a number of performers with Detroit roots – including Ani Kavafian, Ida Kavafian, Kim Kashkashian, Robert deMaine, James Tocco and more – return for two weeks of masterpieces.

As part of our mission to foster artistic excellence among young, emerging ensembles, Festival artists host public coachings for Shouse Institute fellows. With the purchase of a subscription, you will receive a punch card for up to 5 entries. You can attend all five encounters or use your punches to bring friends. Punch cards are included with a subscription or can be purchased for $20. Single use tickets can be purchased for $5, excluding “Artistic Encounters: Musical Chairs.”
